Yesterday, Prime Minister Imran Khan in his statement said that he had requested the family members of the Machh incident to bury their loved ones.

Imran Khan said that he had come to you on foot before and stood by you in grief. He said that he would soon offer condolences and prayers to the families of the martyrs of Quetta and would never break the trust of his people.

According to  News, the sit-in of the Hazara community on the western bypass of Quetta along with their bodies is continuing for the fifth day. Despite the bitter cold, the protest sit-in included women, children, and the elderly.

All small and big business centers in Quetta have been closed. Anjuman-e-Tajiran says that they fully express solidarity with the families of the martyrs, adding that the government has failed to maintain law and order.

Protest sit-ins are going on in different areas of Karachi against the Machh tragedy. Protests are going on at Ayesha Manzil, Powerhouse Chowrangi, Namaish Chowrangi, New Rizvi, Safora Chowrangi, and Kamran Chowrangi. Due to sit-ins, Stargate, Malir 15, Natha Khan Bridge, and Napa Bridge are closed for traffic. Protests are also going on in various cities including Hyderabad and Khairpur against the Machh tragedy.

During the five days, representatives of the provincial and federal governments held five rounds of talks which were successful. Talks with Balochistan Chief Minister and Federal Minister Ali Zaidi also failed last day. The Hazara community has announced not to bury the dead until the arrival of the Prime Minister.

Chief Minister Jam Kamal requested the heirs of the martyrs to bury the dead and assured that the killers would be brought to justice. The Afghan Consul General has requested the Pakistani authorities to hand over the bodies of the three martyrs of the Machh tragedy to the Afghan government.
