Due to sit-ins, Stargate, Malir 15, Natha Khan Bridge, and Napa Bridge are closed for traffic. Protests are also going on in various cities including Hyderabad and Khairpur against the Machh tragedy.
During the five days, representatives of the provincial and federal governments held five rounds of talks which were successful. Talks with Balochistan Chief Minister and Federal Minister Ali Zaidi also failed last day. The Hazara community has announced not to bury the dead until the arrival of the Prime Minister.
Chief Minister Jam Kamal requested the heirs of the martyrs to bury the dead and assured that the killers would be brought to justice. The Afghan Consul General has requested the Pakistani authorities to hand over the bodies of the three martyrs of the Machh tragedy to the Afghan government.
