According to Afghan media, a speeding car collided with a military check post in the Sherzad district of Nangarhar, which caused a loud explosion and completely destroyed the check post.
Obaidullah Shinwari, deputy head of the Nangarhar provincial council, told the media that 14 people were killed in the suicide car bombing. The officers belonged to the Civil Order Force, which is under the Afghan Army.
