Several blasts kill 3, injure 7 in Afghanistan



The death toll from several bomb blasts in different parts of Afghanistan has risen to three. The blasts in Kabul, Parwan and Jalalabad injured seven people, according to the news agency.


Afghan police say three blasts in Kabul were caused by a magnetic device. The blasts targeted three vehicles, including an anti-narcotics force vehicle.

Meanwhile, Afghan officials say a military vehicle was targeted in a blast in Jalalabad.


Meanwhile, according to a news agency from Kabul, the Afghan Taliban has denied involvement in the blasts. Kabul: The Afghan capital was rocked by five consecutive bomb blasts in 24 hours, killing a total of 11 people and injuring seven.


According to Afghan media, more than five blasts took place in the capital in the last 24 hours, three of which took place this morning, killing 11 people, including security personnel, and injuring seven others.

Similarly, five people, including a former election commissioner and an Afghan intelligence official, were killed in five targeted killings in Kabul yesterday.

 United States also expressed concern over the escalation of violence in Afghanistan Kabul and other area of Afghanistan and hinted at revising the peace agreement reached with the Taliban in February last year.
