LAHORE: Former national cricket team captain Shoaib Malik's car was involved in an accident in which he was fortunately safe.

According to the report of ARY News correspondent, Shoaib Malik's car accident happened after the drafting of Pakistan Super League Season 6 while he was on his way home.

Shoaib Malik got out of the National Cricket Academy in his car and the truck was parked in front of him. The former captain lost control of the vehicle due to high speed and collided head-on with a truck parked on the sidewalk.

The former captain of the national cricket team was driving his own sports car, fortunately, he was safe in the accident but the front of the car was completely destroyed.

It should be noted that the drafting of season 6 of the Pakistan Super League took place in Lahore today in which all the franchises selected the players.

 Addressing the drafting ceremony of PSL 6, Chief Executive PCB Wasim Khan said that he thanked everyone for supporting PSL and hoped that the draft would prove to be good.

The Karachi Kings selected Mohammad Nabi Dan Christian and Emad Wasim of Afghanistan in the Diamond category, while Babar Azam, Mohammad Amir, and Colin Ingram were selected in the Platinum category.

The management of Karachi Kings selected Joe Clarke, Mohammad Ilyas, all-rounder Danish Aziz and Zeeshan Malik in the silver category while all-rounder Qasim Akram was selected in the emerging category. In the supplementary round, Karachi Kings selected Noor Ahmad of Afghanistan.
